Tepache takes a day. Sauerkraut takes two weeks. Sweet miso takes three months. Kombucha takes two weeks for getting the tea fermented. A salty miso can be aged for a whole year before it's considered ready. What if we measured time in terms of experiences? Would it change the way we experience time? Let's say we measure life in increments of kombucha batches. Not in terms of weeks, or months, or decades. But in terms of lived experiences people can relate to. Wouldn't it make life more interesting?
