## Three Scoops
Three scoops for a dessert. Nothing more. Nothing less.
“Pleasure is a freedom-song, But it is not freedom. It is the blossoming of your desires, But it is not their fruit. It is a depth calling unto a height, But it is not the deep nor the high.” — [[The Prophet#^b717a1 | The Prophet, Kahlil Gibran]]
Dessert always comes last.
## Sniff and Eat
Eating bitter food before having something sweet.
Another good tip to maximise pleasure is to sniff and eat. Chocolate aficionados encourage you to sniff the chocolate before eating — you are told to first break the chocolate keeping it close to your ear so that you could hear the delicate sound of chocolate breaking, then you are told to sniff the chocolate and take a whiff of its aroma. And then make it melt in your mouth, and slowly eat it.
